The Punisher review

Addictively violent, no matter how repetitive the gameplay may get. This Max Payne clone kicks ass, as does Frank Castle and his enjoyably vindictive methods of torture. Plus the whole thing's scripted by comics legend Garth Ennis.

Irritatingly hard in places, but achingly addictive. Your opposing thumbs *will* hurt.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas review

Posted : 17 years, 9 months ago on 22 July 2006 08:32 (A review of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas)

Good as this game is (and it is) the rapper/twat speak is too grating and too frequent, and the quotient of annoying characters is unbelievably high. Hard to resist failing missions by shooting Ryder's or Sweet's stupid face off. And CJ is a pussy. He cries.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City review

Posted : 17 years, 9 months ago on 22 July 2006 08:29 (A review of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City)

Best of the GTA lot so far. Tommy Vercetti is a badass, the cars and clothes are cool and you've got a supoib 80s' soundtrack. Plus you get the voices of Ray Liotta and Dennis Hopper. What more can you ask for?
